Diana Ross is a rock and roll musician, who was the lead singer for Motown supergroup the Supremes. She is regarded as one of the most successful singers of her era. Diana began her music career at the age of fourteen when she tried to audition for a school musical but she was rejected. However, her fortunes changed when she was invited to sing with a local girl group, which included the likes of Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson.
