Phil Donahue is an American talk show host who is famous for hosting Donahue. He began his career after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in broadcasting. In 1967, Phil started his talk show called, The Phil Donahue Show.

In 2020, Phil published his book, What Makes a Marriage Last: 40 Celebrated Share with Us the Secrets to a Happy Life, alongside Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter.

Death Rumors

Fortunately, Donahue has not been subjected to unfounded death rumors. However, in August 2014, Phil’s youngest son Patrick Donahue died after an aortic aneurysm. This death left a considerable gap in Phil’s family because Patrick was an accomplished lawyer who fought injustices and was a recognized activist.

Health Update

The veteran talk show host, Phil, enjoys the best of health despite his old age. Recently, there has not been any information concerning his health. Phil was present at the American icon awards and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Currently, he resides with his wife, Marlos Thomas, in California.
