Tina Louise is an American actress who is famous for starring in the television series, Gilligan Island. She began acting in 1950 and has been a household name in Hollywood for over six decades.

Tina has acted in many Broadway productions most notably Lil Abner in 1957. In 1958, Louise received the Golden Globe Award for her role in God’s Little Acre. Her major breakthrough came in 1964 when she starred in the CBS film Ginger Grant. Additionally, Tina has a music album titled, Its Time for Tina which she released in 1957. The accomplished actress, Tina Louise is still alive. The actress has been quite inactive in acting and her last appearance was on the 2015 drama film, Tapestry. Her absence from the television screens can be attributed to her old age.

Nevertheless, Tina is currently involved in philanthropy and she recently donated part of the proceeds from her book, When I grow up. She is also a life member of the Actors Studio.
